  2. Is it something I said?

I honestly want to know how people perceive me and how I interact online. Rarely do I get a chance to meet many people face to face that I do interact with on twitter or Facebook. This is due primarily to working outside of Fort Wayne, so I’m unable to attend luncheons or breakfast gatherings and seminars. I want to be more involved, so if that means evenings and weekends sometimes, so be it.

I get way too wrapped up in my Klout score, but there is one score in particular that is disturbing to me, and that is the amplification score. This score is suppose to tell you how loud your message is; if you make in impact or are heard. While many of the other areas are rising as I reply or repost, my amplification score goes down.

It can be fairly obvious sometimes. I do post a lot of things that are unrelated to what most of my followers are interested in, like automotive or Indycar related posts. But I’m also looking at the deeper things. Serious questions that seem to get overlooked that have to do with career topics or areas that I am wanting to grow in, or replying to someone else’s question or comment with no reply back.

Now, I don’t know what everyone’s feed looks like or how often they are on, so this just may be me being paranoid, which is most likely. Maybe I need to post more than once if my question isn’t answered.

I could use some insight into my techniques and my tone. I want to know if I come across abrasive. Maybe what I say just isn’t interesting to you. But hit me. I want to know and grow.

  4. Finally.

I have been telling myself and promising on twitter for well over a year now that I was going to start a blog, so here goes. Obviously a work in progress, but hopefully at least once or twice a week I’ll be sharing thoughts on everything from shopping experiences, things I learn, football, IndyCar racing, local outings and sharing various photos.

I’ll try not to bore too much. If anything, maybe you’ll discover the real me through, if nothing else, my random musings I post on here. Maybe I will also be able to teach you something you didn’t already know.

    Stay tuned…
